Rockville has several stops on the Metro Red Line which includes: White Flint Metro Station, Twinbrook Metro Station, and Shady Grove Metro Station. 

In the 18th century, Rockville was known for being home to Hungerford's Tavern, Daley`s Tavern, and Owen's Ordinary. Now, its population is 67,117 according to the 2020 census.  Today, Rockville has become the fifth-largest community in Montgomery County. This city has a total area of 35.15 km2 (13.57 square miles), of which 0.16 km2 (0.06 square miles) is water and 34.99 km2 (13.51 square miles) is land, as stated by the United States Census Bureau.

Living in Rockville is exciting since it hosts the 355 Corridor with lots of shopping and car dealerships. Rockville borders other popular areas such as Bethesda, Potomac, Kensington, and Silver Spring.
